The ACURET Directorate of FTE serves as the key to improving the knowledge base and skills of members, stakeholders and general public on the essentials of responsible animal care and use for scientific purposes in developing countries. For too long, developing countries have remained on the back bench regarding efforts towards understanding the environment of our existence and its impact upon us, resulting in the poor living conditions, the piling burden of diseases and poverty as well as the economic burden of having to rely upon imported results, goods and services from developed countries.
